Network Visualization  - IT Support

managed Service Portal (MSP)

     We provide management of your Windows PCs, Windows Servers and Macs to monitor, maintain and secure them using ConnectWise RMM an industry leader.

  

  •  24/7 monitoring of Windows PCs, Windows servers and Macs.
  • Patching of Windows PCs and Servers with all the latest approved patches.  This also includes drivers and some third-party software.
  • The ConnectWise NOC (Network Operations Center) reviews all critical Windows patching, and only approved patches are sent to the endpoints (computers or servers) for patching. This is to minimize the unintended issues that arise in some patches.
  • Patching of Macs, but not of the OS (Operating System). 
  • ConnectWise RMM provides the status of missing OS patches so that we can work with our clients to keep their Macs up-to-date.
  • Remote Support via ScreenConnect. Provides full control of your desktop to make resolving issues must faster.  Users/clients can demonstrate the issue rather than trying to explain it. 
  • Backstage control allows us to perform certain support tasks without interrupting a your work. 

Security Software

We offer two solutions that are integrated into our Managed Service Portal.  Managed solutions like these enable us to be notified of a problem immediately, rather than relying on the client to report a problem.  so I strongly encourage my clients to use one of these two options.


  

  • Webroot – A traditional anti-virus software that can be installed on all PCs and Windows Servers, providing 24/7 monitoring with email alerts. With Webroot, we are alerted as soon as an infection is detected. Webroot will quarantine the file 99% of the time, and we will communicate with the end user/client to confirm that the file was unwanted.


  •  SentinelOne Cyber Security – A 24/7 SOC (Security Operations Center) monitored EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) software for PCs and Macs. SentinelOne uses AI to detect attacks. A SOC engineer responds immediately to any infection and within minutes the infection has been analyzed and, if found  positive, is quarantined.  We and a designated client contact both receive emails about the incident for review. In cases of a true cyberattack, the infected system is disconnected from the network and the Internet, except for a connection to the SOC. This is done to prevent the infection from spreading. The SOC will then attempt to mitigate the problem and return the system to an online state. Many cyber insurance companies will provide a discount for using an EDR system. 

Network Visualization

For our larger clients, we install a collector agent on one computer on the network, typically a server, and that agent then builds a visual map of the client’s network. This service is also integrated into our Managed Service Portal, and with this integration, we receive additional alerts about all of a client’s network devices (Firewall, Routers, Switches, Printers, Access Points, etc.).   Visualization is extremely helpful when I am working remotely to isolate a problem on the network, as it shows me how all the devices are interconnected.
